How do the Capitol and Resorts work?

The Capitol unlocks an additional planet-development layer based on Resorts. Instead of providing one simple bonus, Resorts specialize in production, construction and research time, fleet parameters, storage, energy, planet slots, planet fields and other mechanics.

What are the Capitol requirements?

In the current catalog the Capitol requires Nanite Factory level 5, Research Lab level 15 and Computer Technology level 15. Its first-level base cost is 10,000,000 metal, 5,000,000 crystal and 1,000,000 deuterium, with a cost factor of 2.5.

How do later-level costs grow?

The base model follows level cost = base cost × factor^(level-1). Cost-reduction mechanics may then modify the result, so the live interface value should be used as the final amount.

How does the Resort queue work?

Resort development uses its own active queue. One Resort development can occupy that queue at a time. Cancelling the active development currently refunds 50% of the cost.

What bonuses can Resorts provide?

Current effects include: -5% research time per level, -5% building time, +5% attack, +5% defensive shields, -5% fuel consumption, +5% resource production, +1 planet slot, +25% storage capacity, +5% energy production, -3% construction cost, +1 expedition slot and +5 planet fields per relevant Resort level.

What do special Moon and Dark Matter Resorts do?

The Moon Resort raises the daily self-moonshot limit above the base 6, by up to 4 additional attempts depending on level. The Dark Matter Resort controls concurrent Dark-Matter moon missions with 1 + level active slots.

Do all Resorts share the same maximum level?

No. The dynamic maximum normally uses 5 + the account rMax bonus, but an individual Resort can also have a configured hard cap. Different Resorts can therefore stop at different levels.

Can cost reductions combine?

Yes. The economic cost Resort can reduce construction cost by 3% per level, while Optimization Technology applies its own building/Resort cost reduction. The live panel is the best source for the final calculated price.

Common questions

Can two Resorts be upgraded at once?

Not in the same active Resort queue; one development occupies it at a time.

What is refunded after cancellation?

The current mechanic refunds 50% of the cancelled Resort cost.

Does every Resort cap at level 10?

No. Caps depend on the Resort definition and the dynamic account/configuration limit.

How should these values be interpreted?

The formulas and limits above describe the current Inter-War logic. Some parameters are universe configuration values, so a balance update can change a number without changing the underlying rule. If the live game panel displays a different configurable value, that value should be treated as authoritative for the current universe. The formulas are useful for planning, while the final settlement and validation are always performed by the server.

What should be checked before using the mechanic?

Check the current account, planet and fleet state, active bonuses and any validation message shown when the action is attempted. Many Inter-War systems combine several layers: requirements, daily limits, free slots, resources and modifiers from technologies, Resorts, Avatar talents or events. Correctly calculating one formula therefore does not automatically guarantee that an action is available; the other conditions are validated independently.
