The Bank stores metal, crystal and deuterium outside normal planet storage. All three resources share one capacity and withdrawals are reduced by a fee based on Bank Technology.
How is Bank capacity calculated?
capacity = Bank level × 1,000,000 × 2^Bank Officer level. A level-5 Bank without the officer stores 5,000,000 total; with Bank Officer level 2 it stores 5 × 1,000,000 × 4 = 20,000,000.
The capacity is shared. If a 10,000,000 Bank contains 6,000,000 metal and 3,000,000 crystal, only 1,000,000 space remains for any supported resource.
Is there a deposit fee?
No. The current deposit fee is 0%. The selected planet must have at least Bank level 1 and must contain the resources you want to deposit.
How is the withdrawal fee calculated?
fee % = max(3, 15 − Bank Technology level). Level 0 means 15%, level 5 means 10%, and from level 12 onward the minimum 3% applies.
Example: withdrawing 1,000,000 metal with Bank Technology 7 costs 8%, or 80,000, so 920,000 reaches the planet. The fee uses floor(gross × fee% / 100).
Can everything be deposited or withdrawn at once?
Yes. Deposit-all and withdraw-all operations exist; withdrawal fees still apply.
What is the Bank useful for?
It provides additional resource storage and scales strongly with the Bank Officer because every officer level doubles the capacity multiplier.
The Bank is planet-specific
A Bank account is tied to both the player and a specific planet. To perform any operation, that planet must have Bank level 1 or higher. Capacity is 1,000,000 × Bank level × 2^Bank Officer level and applies to the combined stored metal, crystal and deuterium on that local account, not to each resource independently.
Deposits have no fee. Withdrawals use max(3%, 15% − Banking Technology level); the fee is removed from the gross amount and only the net value reaches the planet. “Deposit all” and “withdraw all” still obey capacity, current balances and the same withdrawal fee. This is why moving resources through several planetary Banks is not equivalent to one global storage pool.
