Circular messages let an alliance send one announcement to a broader set of members instead of writing separately to each person. Access depends on rank permissions.
How does it work?
The system includes anti-spam protection: there is a 30-second interval between consecutive circular-message sends. The limit applies to the mass-message feature and prevents rapid repetition of the same action.
What are the requirements?
Being an alliance member alone is not enough if the rank lacks permission to send circular messages. The right can be assigned to selected ranks according to the organization’s structure.
What happens after the action?
Use circular messages for information relevant to the whole group, such as rule changes, coordinated actions, recruitment or organizational notices. For a conversation with one person, a normal private message is more appropriate.
When is it useful?
The action is resolved inside the active universe. Permissions and membership are checked against the alliance’s current state, so an old open page does not guarantee the operation will still be allowed after a rank, recruitment or membership change.
Common mistakes
Before confirming, verify the alliance, player or role affected by the action. Most mistakes come from acting on a stale view or assuming a permission you had earlier is still valid.
