How does the daily attack limit per planet work?

Inter-War limits how many standard attacks one player may dispatch to the same enemy planet during a calendar day. The rule is a separate anti-bashing protection and is recorded as soon as the fleet is sent.

What is the default limit?

The current default is 6 attacks per day on one specific planet. The value is configurable; a value of 0 or below disables this protection. The counter is tied to attacker + exact target coordinates + calendar day.

Which missions count?

Attack and ACS Attack are recorded. Moon Destruction is handled by separate rules and does not consume this particular per-planet attack counter.

When is an attack recorded?

The counter increases when the fleet is dispatched, not when it reaches the target or the battle finishes. This prevents sending many parallel missions before earlier ones resolve.

Does recalling restore the attempt?

No. Once dispatched, the mission is already stored in the daily attack log. Recalling the fleet later does not remove that record, so the attempt remains consumed.

Does every planet have a separate counter?

Yes. The rule uses the exact galaxy:system:position. Reaching the limit on planet A does not automatically block attacks on planet B owned by the same player. A new calendar day starts a new counter.

When is the limit ignored?

The rule does not block a target inactive for at least 7 days. The administrator can also change or disable the limit for a universe.

Common questions

Does ACS count?

Yes. Dispatching an ACS Attack increases the same daily counter for those coordinates.

Does a failed or lost attack count?

Yes. The dispatch itself is counted regardless of the later battle result.

Does recalling give the attempt back?

No. Recall does not delete the already recorded attack.

How should these values be interpreted?

The formulas and limits above describe the current Inter-War logic. Some parameters are universe configuration values, so a balance update can change a number without changing the underlying rule. If the live game panel displays a different configurable value, that value should be treated as authoritative for the current universe. The formulas are useful for planning, while the final settlement and validation are always performed by the server.

What should be checked before using the mechanic?

Check the current account, planet and fleet state, active bonuses and any validation message shown when the action is attempted. Many Inter-War systems combine several layers: requirements, daily limits, free slots, resources and modifiers from technologies, Resorts, Avatar talents or events. Correctly calculating one formula therefore does not automatically guarantee that an action is available; the other conditions are validated independently.
