An alliance can be created only by a player who is not already a member of another alliance. Creation requires a unique tag and name, and the system validates their format before saving the organization.
How does it work?
The tag must contain 2–8 characters and may use letters, digits, underscore and hyphen. The alliance name must contain 3–32 characters. Both the tag and full name must be unique in that world.
What are the requirements?
A new alliance starts with open recruitment disabled. The system creates basic ranks including a Leader with management rights and a standard Member rank. Recruitment and more detailed permissions can be configured afterward.
What happens after the action?
Choose a short tag that is easy to recognize in Galaxy and a name you will not want to replace immediately. Correct formatting is not enough if another alliance already uses the same tag or name.
When is it useful?
The action is resolved inside the active universe. Permissions and membership are checked against the alliance’s current state, so an old open page does not guarantee the operation will still be allowed after a rank, recruitment or membership change.
Common mistakes
Before confirming, verify the alliance, player or role affected by the action. Most mistakes come from acting on a stale view or assuming a permission you had earlier is still valid.
