How do combat technologies work?

Combat technologies improve battle parameters across the whole account. The main technologies cover attack power, shields and structural durability, so their effect is broader than one ship type or one planet.

How do they affect normal combat?

The battle engine resolves player technology levels together with ship/defense definitions and active bonuses. A technology upgrade therefore changes the unit parameters used during settlement, not just a number displayed in the UI.

Confirmed example — Weapons Technology

Interplanetary Missiles have 12,000 base damage and Weapons Technology adds 10% per level: damage = 12,000 × (1 + 0.1 × weapons level).

Confirmed example — Armour Technology

Missile-target durability uses metal + crystal cost and the defender’s Armour level: HP = (metal + crystal) × (1 + 0.1 × armour level).

What about Shielding Technology?

In normal combat it supplies the shield-related part of unit parameters. Final battle values can also include officer, avatar, event and selected-universe catalog modifiers.
