An alliance invitation can be sent by a member whose rank has the required permission. The recipient can then accept and join as long as the membership conditions are still valid at the time of acceptance.
How does it work?
An invitation does not bypass the basic rules: the player cannot already belong to another alliance and the group must still be able to accept another member. Sending an invitation does not permanently reserve a member slot.
What are the requirements?
If the alliance or player state changes between sending and acceptance, the system uses the current state. An old invitation should therefore not force entry into a full alliance or for a player who joined another group in the meantime.
What happens after the action?
Invitations are best for recruiting a specific player who has already agreed to join. Compared with an open application they reduce steps, but they still depend on current permissions and capacity.
When is it useful?
The action is resolved inside the active universe. Permissions and membership are checked against the alliance’s current state, so an old open page does not guarantee the operation will still be allowed after a rank, recruitment or membership change.
Common mistakes
Before confirming, verify the alliance, player or role affected by the action. Most mistakes come from acting on a stale view or assuming a permission you had earlier is still valid.
