How do Noob and Strong Player protection work?

Noob/Strong protection limits attacks when the development gap between players is too large. Inter-War evaluates the relative strength of the accounts when an attack is dispatched so a much weaker player is not always available as a normal target.

How does this rule work?

The exact thresholds are parameters of the active universe. They are stored as world-local configuration, so two universes can use different protection ratios without changing the underlying attack logic.

What exactly does the server validate?

The status displayed in Galaxy helps the player, but final validation is server-side at dispatch. If ranking or player state changed after the screen was opened, an earlier status does not guarantee that the attack will still be accepted.

How does this affect the mission?

For PvP planning, do not memorize thresholds from classic OGame. Check the markings and current rules of your own universe, especially for targets close to a protection boundary.

When does it matter?

This mechanic belongs to world parameters and can be configured per universe. Do not import a fixed value from OGame or another server when the active Inter-War world has its own settings.

Common mistake

When planning, use the data shown in the current universe and current reports. The server-side rule is stable, while the specific factor or limit can belong to that world’s configuration.
