Inter-War Game Rules

Inter-War Game Rules

These rules define the standards of fair play in Inter-War. Their purpose is to provide equal conditions for all players and prevent abuse, automation, bug exploitation and other actions that may negatively affect gameplay. Creating an account and using the game means accepting these rules.

1. Player accounts

Each account should be used only by its owner. The player is responsible for account security, login credentials and all actions performed through it. Sharing login details, passwords, active sessions or other access data is prohibited. Account transfers are allowed only through an official Inter-War mechanism or with Administration approval through Support. Premium and purchased bonuses do not exempt players from these rules.

2. Multiple accounts

A player may own and actively operate no more than one account in a given universe. Separate accounts in different universes are allowed. Creating additional accounts in the same universe to support a main account, store resources, perform moonshots, spy, manipulate rankings, generate debris or obtain any other advantage is prohibited. An account formally owned by another person may still be treated as a multi-account if it is effectively controlled by the same player.

3. Shared IP addresses and networks

Several players may use Inter-War from the same household, company, school, dormitory, mobile network or other shared connection. If several people regularly play from the same network, informing Administration through Support is recommended. Players may not log in to one another’s accounts or artificially transfer advantages between accounts. The same IP address alone is not sufficient proof of multi-accounting; Administration may also consider other technical data and activity history in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

4. VPN, proxy and similar services

Using a VPN, mobile network, proxy or changing IP address is not prohibited by itself. Using such services to hide multi-accounts, evade bans, manipulate security systems, mass-create accounts or make violations harder to detect is prohibited.

5. Pushing

Intentionally transferring an unfair advantage from a weaker account to a stronger account is prohibited. Pushing may include resource transfers without appropriate compensation, arranged battles intended to leave fleets or debris, intentional fleet losses, manipulated trade, artificial transfer of recycling profits, arranged ACS missions used to transfer value and using another account as a resource source. Administration may consider ranking, account history, scale, frequency and circumstances. Support from a stronger player to a weaker player is generally allowed if it is not part of a scheme intended to benefit the stronger account later. Transactions requiring repayment or profit sharing should be settled within 72 hours. Unusual or very large transfers may be reported to Support in advance.

6. Bashing

More than 6 attacks on the same planet or moon of one active player within 24 hours are prohibited. One completed battle counts as one attack regardless of the number of fleets in one ACS operation. Standard spy missions using probes and interplanetary missile attacks do not count toward the limit. Moon destruction missions are subject to the bashing limit. Administration may temporarily change or suspend the rule for a universe, alliance war or event after prior announcement.

7. Arranged battles and artificial advantages

Battles whose main purpose is to artificially transfer resources, fleets, debris fields, points or another advantage between cooperating accounts are prohibited. This also includes intentionally exposed fleets, arranged recyclers, ACS manipulation and use of inactive or auxiliary accounts. Normal warfare, moonshots and agreed operations between independent players are allowed if they do not violate pushing or multi-account rules.

8. Bug exploitation

Intentionally exploiting game bugs to gain an advantage is prohibited. This includes duplication of resources or Antimatter, repeated reward collection, bypassing costs, instantly finishing queues, bypassing fleet, research or building limits, manipulating battle results or performing actions that should not normally be available. Serious bugs should be reported to Administration. Minimal testing necessary to confirm a bug is not treated the same as deliberate repeated exploitation. Publishing instructions for exploiting an active bug before it is fixed may be treated as a violation.

9. Bots, scripts and automation

Using software that performs gameplay actions on behalf of a player is prohibited. This includes bots, autoclickers, macros and scripts that automatically send fleets, build, research, spy, attack or perform other actions without a direct player decision. Bypassing security measures, API limits, anti-bot systems, CAPTCHA or other protections is also prohibited. Purely informational tools that do not act for the player may be allowed unless Administration states otherwise. Administration may publish a list of officially permitted extensions or tools.

10. Client and server request manipulation

Intentionally modifying requests sent to the server in order to perform actions unavailable through the normal interface is prohibited. This includes manually changing request parameters, replaying transactions, bypassing validation, manipulating object identifiers and calling inaccessible endpoints. Using browser developer tools by itself is not prohibited; using them to violate game mechanics or security is prohibited.

11. Attacks on game infrastructure

Any action targeting the availability or security of Inter-War is prohibited, including intrusion attempts, DDoS, scanning for exploitable vulnerabilities, account takeover, phishing, session theft and access to other users’ data. Potential vulnerabilities should be reported privately to Administration.

12. Real-money trading

Selling or buying accounts, resources, fleets, Antimatter or other game elements between players for real money is prohibited unless the transaction is part of an official Inter-War system. Offering paid services to develop accounts, perform attacks or obtain resources is also prohibited.

13. Communication and conduct

Threats against life or health, publication of another person’s personal data without consent, persistent harassment, impersonating Administration, attempts to obtain login credentials, spam and clearly unlawful content are prohibited. Competitive banter, provocation and emotional statements related to gameplay are allowed as long as they do not cross these boundaries. Player names, planet names, moon names, alliance names and descriptions are also subject to these rules.

14. Impersonating Administration

A player may not claim or suggest that they are an administrator, moderator or other Inter-War staff member if they do not hold that role. Creating messages, pages or forms that imitate official Inter-War communications in order to obtain data from other players is prohibited. Inter-War staff should never ask a player for their account password.

15. Reporting violations

Suspected violations should be reported through the official Support system. A report should contain an accurate description and information that helps verify the situation. Administration may rely on server logs, operation history, economic data, fleet history and other technical data processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Reporting another player does not automatically mean the player is guilty. Knowingly submitting false reports or manipulating evidence may itself be treated as a violation.

16. Penalties

Violations may result in sanctions appropriate to the type and scale of the offense. Administration may issue a warning, reverse unfairly gained benefits, correct resources or account state, impose a temporary ban, restrict specific features or permanently ban an account. In multi-account or coordinated abuse cases, sanctions may apply to all accounts involved. Repeated violations may result in harsher penalties. Serious bug exploitation, botting, intrusion attempts, fraud or evasion of previous bans may result in an immediate permanent ban.

17. Appeals

A player may appeal a penalty through Support. Account-related matters will be discussed only with the owner of that account. Public discussions, chat messages or contact with other players do not replace an official appeal. The final decision belongs to Inter-War Administration.

18. Administration actions

Administrators may perform technical actions necessary to diagnose bugs, process reports and protect the game. Administrative, technical and test accounts may be exempt from normal gameplay rules if used only for support or testing and if they do not participate in normal competition. Administration should not use its powers to gain an advantage on private player accounts.

19. Events and universe-specific rules

Some universes or events may have additional or modified rules. Attack limits, PvP rules, economic settings or available features may differ. If a specific universe differs from these Game Rules, the exception should be clearly published before it is applied.

20. Changes to the rules

These rules may be updated as Inter-War develops, new features are added, mechanics change or new forms of abuse need to be addressed. Significant changes should be announced to players. New rules should not be used to punish behavior that was clearly permitted before publication, except in cases involving fraud, bug exploitation or security violations.

21. Fair play principle

The absence of a specific abuse method from these rules does not automatically mean that it is permitted. Actions whose obvious purpose is to bypass game mechanics, limits or security systems in order to obtain an advantage impossible through normal gameplay may be treated as a violation. If in doubt, a player should contact Support before performing the action. ---
